US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken said the deal for a cease-fire in Gaza should be reached in the coming days, adding that the US, Egypt and Qatar will do everything possible to make "Hamas" to accept it, reported Reuters, quoted by BTA, referring to Blinken's statement to the media in Doha.

The US Secretary of State stated that after "Hamas" agreed to the proposal presented by Washington to overcome the differences blocking the ceasefire agreement, it will also be necessary to agree on the details of its implementation. The US has long stated that it does not accept a long-term occupation of Gaza by Israel, Blinken stressed.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer also stressed the need for "quick action" to achieve a ceasefire and the release of hostages in Gaza during talks with his Israeli counterpart Benjamin Netanyahu, reports DPA. He welcomed Israel's support for the US-backed ceasefire proposal. The two leaders stressed that "regional de-escalation is in everyone's interest,", Starmer's office said.

In addition, the British Prime Minister expressed his sincere condolences to the Israeli people and the families of the six hostages who were found in Gaza yesterday.

At the same time, the Israel Defense Forces announced that the Lebanese militia "Hezbollah" has fired another series of rockets at northern Israel amid fears of a possible regional conflict.

„Approximately 40 projectiles have been identified coming from Lebanon,”, the army said. "IDF air defense forces successfully intercepted some of the targets, and the rest fell in the Golan Heights area.

So far there are no reports of casualties.
