The massive drone attack in Russia's Moscow Region shows that the “Kiev regime” is an enemy of Russia and Russia must continue to fight him, said Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, quoted by Reuters, BTA reported.
Ukraine carried out its largest drone attack in the Moscow region, killing one woman. Russia also carried out one of the heaviest and deadliest airstrikes against Ukraine this month.
Peskov added that while Ukrainian troops are in Russia's Kursk region, Moscow will not negotiate with Kiev and will continue military operations in Ukraine.
The Kremlin also said it will not monitor the pre-election debate between US presidential candidates Donald Trump and Kamala Harris. Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the debate was a matter for American voters.
Last week, the White House said Russian President Vladimir Putin should stop commenting on the US presidential election after Putin made an apparently joking comment about wanting Harris to win and referred to her "infectious" laughter. Peskov said Putin would watch the start of major Russian naval exercises from the Kremlin's situation center today. He added that the exercises will take place in several oceans and that foreign partners will also participate in them.
