< strong>The Bulgarian authorities are taking action to evacuate Bulgarian citizens and their families from Lebanon, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced, quoted by Nova TV. The reason is the escalation of tension in the country. At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on the instructions of Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev, a working group was created to coordinate and propose the most suitable option for the implementation of the task.
The Embassy of Bulgaria in Beirut is in constant contact with all Bulgarian citizens who have expressed a desire to receive assistance for their return to the country. The working group through the embassies in Beirut, Tel Aviv and other diplomatic missions in the region will provide the necessary assistance for the safe evacuation of Bulgarian citizens.
In case of need for assistance, Bulgarian citizens in the Republic of Lebanon can contact the Bulgarian diplomatic representation in Beirut, at the following number: +961 5 453 658, as well as at telephone numbers for urgent cases during non-working hours: +961 81 302,552; +961 76 697 766.
