Meanwhile, information emerged that an Iranian "spy" has informed Israel of the presence of the Secretary General of "Hezbollah" Hassan Nasrallah in the southern suburbs of Beirut, where he was killed. This is reported by Le Parisien, quoted by FOCUS, citing a source from the Lebanese security authorities.

"The Israelis did everything they could, they didn't want to miss their target," the source said.

On September 28, the Israel Defense Forces announced that Nasrallah had been killed in an Israeli airstrike that hit the southern suburbs of Beirut. The blow was delivered on Friday (September 27) when the leadership of "Hezbollah" was holding a meeting. The day after "Hezbollah" confirmed the death of its leader and promised to "continue to oppose Israel".

Hassan Nasrallah is the Secretary General of "Hezbollah" for 32 years. His predecessor, Abbas Mousavi, was killed in an attack on his car in southern Lebanon in 1992.
