Kiev will present his "plan for victory" at the regular high-level meeting of the Contact Group on the provision of defense assistance to Ukraine, which will be held on October 12 at the US Air Force Base "Ramstein" in Southwest Germany, Reuters reported, referring to a statement by President Volodymyr Zelensky, quoted by BTA.
"We will present the plan for victory, clear, concrete steps for a just end to the war," he wrote on the "Telegram" platform.
Ukraine, which has been fending off an invasion by its much larger neighbor Russia for nearly 1,000 days, has promised in recent months that it will present a plan to end the war.
The details of the plan have not yet been made public, but Zelensky presented them during his visit to Washington last week to US President Joe Biden, as well as to the two main contenders for the White House, who will take part in the upcoming vote on 5 November.
US State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said the plan contained "a number of productive steps" for Washington to engage with Ukraine.
Newspaper "Wall Street Journal" however, it cited U.S. officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, as saying the plan was a reworked request for more weapons and lifting restrictions on the use of long-range missiles, and lacked a comprehensive strategy, Reuters noted.
