Russian forces have taken control of the settlement of Konstantinopolskoye in eastern Ukraine's Donetsk region, the Defense Ministry in Moscow said today, quoted by Reuters.
"As a result of decisive actions, units of the Southern Group of Forces liberated the settlement of Ostrovskoye in the Donetsk People's Republic“, the ministry said, using the name of Konstantinopolskoye before it was renamed in 2016.
Reuters has not been able to independently confirm the data provided by the Russian side.
Meanwhile, it became clear that the number of people injured as a result of the drone attack on Zaporizhia yesterday evening has increased to 4 people, including a child, regional governor Ivan Fyodorov said. Earlier, the chairman of the Zaporozhye regional military administration, Ivan Fyodorov, wrote in the application that a twelve-year-old boy and a woman were injured in the drone attack in Zaporozhye.
The sirens in the city were activated at 20:03, the drone attack began at around 21:00. A fire broke out in Zaporozhye as a result of a downed drone, the regional governor said in a statement. The windows of a nine-story residential building were broken by the blast wave, Ivan Fyodorov added.
In Zaporozhye region, the Bulgarian community is about 30 thousand people. The compact settlement of the Bulgarian community in the region is concentrated in Primorsky, Melitopol, Berdyansk and Priazovsky districts, which are currently occupied.
