Ukraine invites its partners to define how they envision the end of the war with Russia and Ukraine's place in the global security architecture, quoted by News.bg.
This was stated on Monday by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, in a video address quoted by "Ukrinform".
The president emphasized that the prospects should be clear for everyone in Ukraine.
Zelensky indicated that by the end of the day he expects a report from the Ukrainian team currently working in Washington, as well as a report from Commander-in-Chief Sirsky on cooperation with partners.
"There was an extensive front line briefing today – our actions and needs. The Donetsk directions remain particularly challenging and we will try to convince our partners at the upcoming "Ramstein" meeting. in the urgent need to significantly strengthen our capabilities and positions now, during these autumn months. Sufficient supplies for the front, sufficient equipment for our brigades and long-range strike capabilities – it will be the best deterrent against Russia and a strong push towards achieving peace," he said.
Zelensky added that he had listened to the reports of strategic adviser Alexander Kamishin and Minister of Strategic Industries German Smetanin on the production of shells, artillery and equipment.
"It is not only about what we have already achieved or are producing, but also about proposals to our partners to invest in the development of Ukrainian production, especially drones and electronic warfare systems. This is also part of the package for the upcoming Rammstein concert. We have to get stronger – every month, every week," emphasized Zelensky.
We remind you that US President Joe Biden will chair the next meeting of the Contact Group on the Defense of Ukraine in the "Ramstein" format, which will be held in Germany on October 12.
