Bolivia has joined the genocide case against Israel at the International Court of Justice - 1

Bolivia has officially joined the case for genocide filed by South Africa against Israel at the International Court of Justice (IC), reported Al-Jazeera. Bolivia has become the latest country to file a request to intervene in the case that accuses Israel of committing acts in violation of the Genocide Convention in the Gaza war. Before that, Colombia, Libya, Spain, Mexico, Palestine, Nicaragua and Turkey joined the case, as quoted by News.bg.

Bolivia, which cut diplomatic ties with Israel in November, claims that "Israel's genocidal war continues" and expressed his commitment to condemn this crime. In January, the ICJ ruled that Israel must prevent acts of genocide in Gaza and grant access to investigators, but Israel rejected those rulings.

Although the judgments of the International Court of Justice are legally binding, the lack of a mechanism to enforce them means that Israel has not complied with several of the court's rulings.
