Israel carried out an airstrike this morning on southern suburbs of the Lebanese capital Beirut, for the fourth consecutive day day. Before the attack, Israeli forces ordered the evacuation of the area, reported France Presse, quoted by BTA.
According to the Lebanese National News Agency (NNA), the strike was carried out by two missiles fired by "enemy aircraft".
Following the Israeli army's call for evacuation, gunshots were heard near Beirut's southern suburbs, aimed at urging residents to leave the area.
