Participants in the protest action that began on Tuesday evening in Tbilisi ended the rally with a procession through the streets of the city.

A column of opposition supporters, numbering about 100 people, passed through the streets of the capital on Wednesday morning, moving away from the city center.

Another opposition rally began on Tuesday evening near the Parliament of Georgia, from where it was pushed along Blvd. Rustaveli.

During the night, the protesters attacked the police barrier with the help of pyrotechnics, and in the morning the security forces pushed the crowd out of the alley.

Protesters then reached Tbilisi City Hall and blocked traffic in front of it for a while.

A series of opposition protests began in Georgia on November 28 after Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze announced his decision to suspend consideration of the start of negotiations for the country's membership of the European Union until 2028.

The president of the country called on the West not to recognize the results of the last parliamentary elections.

Participants in the protests use firecrackers, stones, bottles, and it is reported that Molotov cocktail bottles were found at the site of the pogroms. Security forces responded with special equipment, including water cannons.
