Ukrainian delegation led by Andriy Yermak - chief of the president's office Volodymyr Zelensky, met with high-ranking representatives of the newly elected US President Donald Trump, at a time when when Ukraine seeks support from the future administration of the White House for its war against Russia, reported Reuters, quoted by BTA.

The Ukrainian delegation met in Washington with Trump's nominee for national security adviser Mike Waltz and with the future US envoy to Ukraine Keith Kellogg.

Trump's transition team has not commented on the meeting.

The US president-elect has vowed to end the nearly three-year-long war between Ukraine and Russia through negotiations, but so far has not given more details on how he will do that.

On Monday, the United States announced it would supply Kiev with missiles, ammunition, landmines and other weapons worth a total of $725 million in an effort by President Joe Biden's administration to support Kiev in its war with Russian invaders before its term expires on January 20.
