Strong explosions rocked the Syrian capital Damascus, reported the Agence France-Presse, quoted by BTA.
The explosions were heard shortly after the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a non-governmental organization, reported that since the start of the conflict and the fall of Bashar al-Assad's regime, Israel had carried out about 250 airstrikes on various targets in Syria.< /p>
Israeli forces are directing their attacks mainly against Syrian military facilities throughout the country with the aim of destroying them.
According to data from the Center, airports, radars, weapons depots, warships and research centers were hit. Among the targets affected was an air defense system located near the city of Latakia.
