Two people died in a collision between a passenger and freight train near the Russian city of Murmansk.
The governor of the Murmansk region, Andrei Chibis, said in a video message posted on his Telegram channel that "the most important issue is providing medical care to all those injured".
Doctors are currently fighting for the lives of several passengers. One victim died on the way to the hospital, and the other at the hospital.
Chibis noted that the majority of passengers continue to travel to St. Petersburg by train. Special transportation is provided for those temporarily accommodated in a specialized center.
