Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed hope for a resolution of the Ukrainian conflict in 2025, noting that securing a just peace is a priority for Ankara. He made the statement in a New Year's video address to the nation released by his administration.
"Our priority is to end the war between Russia and Ukraine - our Black Sea neighbors - with a just peace. We hope that a new era will begin in our north in 2025,“ the Turkish president noted.
