Assessing Putin's recent visit to Astana, he noted that "a four-hour conversation with Vladimir Putin was held in an informal setting. Such communication allowed us to strengthen mutual understanding on current issues of bilateral cooperation and the international agenda. "I provided clarifications on Kazakhstan's multilateral foreign policy, our firm commitment to developing strategic partnership and allied relations with Russia," the Kazakh leader said.
