Orban: Trump's inauguration marks new era for the West - 1

On Tuesday morning, with the inauguration of President-elect Donald Trump, a new era begins for the West, and the "end of the bitter, complicated and failure-filled four years" of the Democratic administration in the White House is already a fact. This was stated by Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban in an interview with the national radio “Lajos Kossuth“, quoted by the MTI news agency, BTA reports.

Orban pointed out that the Democratic Party administration had “started badly“ after the 2020 elections, because according to him “in the end, they stole the presidency from Donald Trump“. He added: “If they hadn’t cheated in 2020, Donald Trump would have remained president and then the war between Ukraine and Russia would not have started.”

The Hungarian prime minister highlighted the differences between the Republican and Democratic administrations, saying that the Republican Party “stands on a national basis” while the Democratic Party is “globalist.” According to Orbán, the Democrats defend their interests through global organizations “like the George Soros network.”

He criticized the Democrats for putting their economic interests above politics and said their actions were leading to global chaos. “The world is flooded with migrants, crazy gender ideology is unleashed, and they do not hesitate to use war to achieve their goals, as they did with the Russia-Ukraine war,” Orbán said.
