US President Donald Trump has again said that he expects to talk to Russian President Vladimir Putin soon.
“He wants to talk and we'll talk soon“, Trump told reporters.
Trump on Thursday said that "Russia should be looking to make a deal" to resolve the Ukrainian crisis. "They may want to make a deal. I think from what I've heard, Putin would like to see me, to meet as soon as possible. I would meet right away", Trump said.
The president noted that he had spoken several times with Volodymyr Zelensky. “They want peace“, Trump said, speaking of the Ukrainian side. "And I think President Putin would also like to see the war end," he added.
