The US and Europeans are finalizing a proposal for a 30-day ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia, Reuters reported, citing a French diplomatic source, BTA reports.
If the proposal is rejected by the Russian side, this will lead to the joint imposition of new sanctions on Russia, the source added.
The proposal has not yet been given the green light and will be finalized over the weekend during a high-level meeting in Ukraine.
