Russia will announce which representatives will participate in proposed peace talks in Turkey when President Vladimir Putin deems the time is right, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said, Reuters reported, quoted by BTA.
Peskov declined to comment on whether Putin himself would attend the talks, noting that information would be provided when the Kremlin deems it appropriate.
On Sunday, the Russian president proposed direct talks with Ukraine to end the conflict. Shortly after, former US President Donald Trump publicly called on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to accept the offer.
In response, Zelensky said he was ready to participate in the talks, but stressed that they should be held in the personal presence of Vladimir Putin.
