The composition of the Russian delegation for the Istanbul talks will be determined based on the topics that will be discussed during the talks - both political and technical. This was announced by Russian presidential aide Yuri Ushakov to VGTRK journalist Pavel Zarubin, quoted by TASS, reports Focus.
“The delegation will discuss both political and, I would say, countless technical issues“, Ushakov noted. “Therefore, the composition will be in accordance with this“, he added.
When asked whether he himself would participate in the delegation, Ushakov replied laconically: “I work here.“
Regarding the possibility that the negotiations could begin at midnight on May 15, the presidential aide smiled and commented with a dose of humor: “Honestly, I think from the morning.“
On May 15, the Russian delegation will expect representatives of Kiev in Istanbul.
Meanwhile, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has expressed a desire to personally arrive in the Turkish city with the support of European Union countries.
