US President's Special Representative for Ukraine Keith Kellogg called the words of Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev "reckless."
In a post on the X Social Network, Kellogg Stresses That Fanning Fears of Global Conflict Is an "Unfortunate" and "Inappropriate" Comment for a Representative of a World Power. He adds that President Donald Trump is working to end the conflict.
A colleague adds that Washington expects Moscow to provide the memorandum it promised earlier.
Stoking fears of WW III is an unfortunate, reckless comment by @MedvedevRussiaE and unfitting of a world power. President Trump @POTUS is working to stop this war and end the killing. We await receipt of RU Memorandum (Term Sheet) that you promised a week ago. Cease fire now. https://t.co/Mq2NxLyw2V

Earlier, Medvedev responded to Trump's remarks about "really bad things" coming to Russia, saying: "I only know of one REALLY BAD thing - World War III. I hope Trump realizes that!"
