Finland has provided Ukraine with assistance worth over 3.6 billion euros since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion. This includes over 2.7 billion euros in military aid, about 90 million euros in financial support and approximately 816 million euros in humanitarian aid. The information was announced by Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmygal during a joint press conference with his Finnish counterpart Petteri Orpo, Ukrinform reported, quoted by BTA.

„I would like to thank Finland for its unwavering solidarity with Ukraine. "We highly appreciate everything that the government and people of Finland have done for our stability and victory," Shmygal stressed.

He added that Finland has also provided critical energy equipment - including transformers, generators and electric motors - as well as 8 million euros to support demining efforts in Ukraine.

The Ukrainian prime minister also expressed gratitude for the 28 defense assistance packages provided by Finland, as well as for its consistent position on sanctions against Russia.
