Billionaire Elon Musk expressed regret for some of his posts last week aimed at former US President Donald Trump, "Reuters" reported, BTA reports.
„I regret some of my posts about President Donald Trump last week. "They went too far," Musk wrote on his social network X.
The conflict between Musk and Trump erupted on social media after the Tesla and SpaceX CEO sharply criticized the massive tax and spending bill supported by Trump, calling it a "disgusting abomination."
Musk's statement comes just days after Trump announced that his relationship with the billionaire was over. The former president warned that there would be "serious consequences" if Musk decided to fund the Democratic Party instead of supporting the Republicans behind the controversial bill.
Musk was among the main financial supporters of Trump's presidential campaign in 2024. In addition, he was involved in initiatives to reduce the federal workforce and limit government spending.
