Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó is arriving on a working visit to the Republic of North Macedonia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade in Skopje announced, BTA reports.
The focus of his talks with Macedonian Foreign Minister Timco Mucunski will be the promotion of bilateral cooperation between the two countries. The signing of a strategic partnership agreement between the governments of Hungary and North Macedonia is expected during the visit.
The two countries will also sign a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Education and Science of North Macedonia and the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade. The document will regulate cooperation on the educational program “Stipendium Hungaricum” for the period 2026-2028
