Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in a phone conversation with his Iranian counterpart Mesud Pezeshkian that Ankara is ready to assist in resuming nuclear talks with Tehran. This was announced by the Communications Directorate of the Turkish Presidency, BTA reports.
During the conversation, the two leaders discussed the international situation, the situation in the Middle East, as well as the tension between Iran and Israel, expressed through mutual strikes.
President Erdogan stressed Turkey's commitment to peace and stability in the region and expressed his country's readiness to play a constructive role in finding diplomatic solutions.
