“We don't want our children to be sent to the front in Ukraine and watch them return in coffins“, said Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban in a video comment published on “Facebook“, quoted by the Hungarian news agency MTI, BTA reports.
The clip begins with a statement by Romulus Rusin-Sendy from the opposition party “Tisza“, in which he states that “if Ukraine were a member of the EU or NATO, it would be right for our forces to enter there“.
In response, Orban stressed: “We don't want our children to be sent to the fronts in Ukraine or even on Ukrainian territory in the form of Hungarian troops and watch them return home in coffins“.
At the end of the video, citizens are invited to visit the website of the government consultation on the possible membership of Ukraine in the European Union and vote “no“.
