The death toll in the massive Russian attack on Kiev on Monday has risen to 21, emergency services reported, quoted by Ukrinform, BTA reports.
“A total of 21 people have died in the capital, and 134 have been injured“, the Emergency Situations Service wrote on “Telegram“.
According to initial data from yesterday, the number of deaths was 14.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said that this was “one of the most terrible attacks“ Russia's offensive against Kiev since the start of the invasion in February 2022, AFP reported.
More than 440 drones and 32 missiles were fired during the attack, the president added. 27 locations in the capital were targeted, Ukrainian Interior Minister Igor Klymenko said.
Meanwhile, two more people were killed and 17 wounded in an attack on Odessa, and two more died in Sumy and Kherson regions, Ukrainian authorities said.
