The document, which Trump calls “one big beautiful bill“, provides for significant tax cuts and government spending in a number of industries. At the same time, the bill provides for an increase in defense spending, in particular for the creation of the “Golden Dome“ missile defense system. On May 22, the lower house of the US Congress approved the bill. After approval in the upper house of the legislative body, the document will be sent to the president for signature.
