The Kremlin said that Western arms deliveries are high on its agenda and that it is closely monitoring the issue, Reuters and TASS reported, BTA reported.

Arms deliveries to Ukraine are a business and some European countries will pay for these weapons, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

“This is a business. There have been deliveries before. No one has stopped them. The question is simply who pays for them. Now some Europeans will pay for them“, Peskov said. According to him, there will be disagreements among European countries regarding payment for weapons to Ukraine.

“You heard that the French won't pay, so the Czechs won't pay either. That is, there will also be disagreements there - why pay so much, how much money? There will be nothing left for the citizens“, said Peskov.

The Kremlin spokesman also said that Russia calls on all parties to provide assistance in order to encourage Kiev to continue direct negotiations and to schedule their next round.

"We call on everyone to do so. In this case, the mediation efforts of the United States - of President [US Donald] Trump and his team - are key. There have been many statements, many talks of disappointment, but we, of course, want to hope that in parallel with this, pressure is being exerted on the Ukrainian side. Because, as I have already said, at the moment it seems that the Ukrainian side perceives all statements of support for it not as a signal for peace, but [as] a signal for war, for the continuation of the war," Peskov said.

There are currently no plans for a new phone conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump, but this could be organized quickly, he added.
