US President Donald Trump was examined for swelling in his lower legs and bruises on his hands, White House spokeswoman Caroline Levitt said today, quoted by Reuters, BTA reported.
Quoting a letter from Trump's doctor, Levitt told reporters that the president was examined and had an ultrasound of his legs, which "revealed chronic venous insufficiency […] - a common condition, especially in people over 70 years of age."
“In addition, recent photos of the president show slight bruising on the back of one of his hands,“ Levitt also said. “This corresponds to symptoms of mild soft tissue inflammation from frequent handshakes and the use of aspirin, which is taken as part of a standard cardiovascular disease prevention regimen,“ she added.
