Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is recovering from food poisoning, his office said on Monday, adding that he will continue to work from home for the next three days, Reuters reported, BTA reported.
The 75-year-old prime minister felt unwell last night, with doctors diagnosing intestinal inflammation and dehydration. His office said in a statement that he had been given intravenous fluids.
"In accordance with medical advice, the prime minister will rest at home for the next three days and will conduct state affairs from there," the office said.
Netanyahu had a pacemaker fitted in 2023 and had his prostate removed in December due to a urinary tract infection, Reuters recalls.
