A new system will distribute conscripts between the branches of the military using artificial intelligence, Kazinform reports.
The system will take into account education, marital status and even the height and weight of young people. This was announced at a briefing at the Central Communications Service by Deputy Minister of Defense for Digitalization Darkhan Akhmedyev.
According to him, the digital platform will allow for a transition from a mass approach to an individual and more targeted selection of candidates for military service.
"We are already working on an electronic system that allows us to determine who is subject to conscription and who is not. These are mainly students and citizens with disabilities. We put them on a separate list. In addition, we send SMS notifications to students that they may not appear at military commissariats. But now we want to go deeper, plus the System will prompt us, making a more targeted selection of conscripts," noted Darkhan Akhmediev.
