An Israeli Air Force drone hit a car driven by a member of the Shiite Hezbollah militia, the Lebanon 24 news portal reported. According to it, the incident occurred on a highway near the city of Tyre in southern Lebanon, and the Shiite fighter died on the spot from his wounds.
On July 25, in the city of Bint Jubail, a Hezbollah field commander responsible for military operations on the eastern border was killed in an Israeli drone strike.
On July 24, Israeli Air Force fighter jets carried out a series of massive strikes on ground targets near the cities of Jezzine and Nabatiya, located north of the Litani River. The attack targeted suspected underground shelters, command posts and warehouses of Shiite units. Local authorities did not report any civilian casualties.
On July 15, during an attack by Israeli aircraft on a base of the Shiite militia Hezbollah, at least 12 people, including seven Syrian citizens, were killed in northeastern Lebanon. The military facility hit was located in a gorge near the city of Hermel.
Earlier, the Republic's Information Minister Paul Morcos cited data according to which Israel violated the ceasefire, which came into effect in southern Lebanon on November 27, 2024, 2,740 times. 196 people were killed in Israeli air strikes and shelling, and another 485 were injured.
