Zelensky thanked the owner of the White House for the invitation to Washington. According to him, all parties equally „want to quickly and reliably end this war“. And the peace must be long-lasting, he added.
Earlier, Donald Trump said that the White House would host a „big day“ before the meeting with the leaders of the EU countries and Volodymyr Zelensky. In addition, it is important for the United States to meet with so many European politicians, he assured.
On August 18, Trump will meet with Zelensky in Washington, which will also be attended by US Vice President J.D. Vance.
