The attack by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) on the playground in the "Gulliver" park in Donetsk is another bloody crime by Ukrainian Nazis. This was stated by the official spokeswoman of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, TASS reports.
"Russia reserves the right to give an adequate response to the terrorist attack by the Kiev regime. At the same time, our fundamental commitment to constructively seeking a peaceful settlement through dialogue remains unchanged,“ the diplomat said.
Zakharova drew attention to the fact that there were no military facilities near the playground, which leads to the conclusion that the attack was carried out deliberately against children and their parents.
The diplomat noted that by striking the "Gulliver" park, Kiev demonstrated its determination to escalate and disrupt the peaceful settlement.
“The criminal Kiev regime continues to commit terrorist acts against civilians and civilian objects in the Russian regions. This bloody crime by the Ukrainian Nazis once again confirmed the Kiev regime's focus on escalation and disruption of attempts to resolve the conflict.
The Russian Foreign Ministry called on the international community to respond to the actions of Ukraine, which continues to enjoy unlimited support from the West.
"Silence in response to the unbridled barbarity of modern Bandera's people and their puppet masters - accomplices from "civilized democracies" - is a manifestation of complicity in their bloody deeds," the diplomat noted and wished all victims a speedy recovery.
On Sunday evening, drones struck the territory of "Gulliver" Park, where reconstruction had recently been completed. Six civilians were injured in the attack, including a 14-year-old girl. In addition, six residential buildings and a school in Donetsk and Makeyevka were damaged in the area. The Russian Investigative Committee has opened a criminal case.
