Ivelin Mihaylov: I distance myself from the eight deputies who registered in the National Assembly. They spat on the people's trust

I don't know how they will compensate for this, but I have no desire to work in this way with people who think so petty and elementary about pennies. They should apologize to the voters, commented the leader of "Velichye"

The leader of "Velichye" Ivelin Mihaylov made a statement on the party's Facebook profile, in which he expressed an official position on behalf of the PG in relation to eight of his deputies who registered in the hall today, reports novini.bg.

„I want to distance myself from the eight deputies who registered for the work of the National Assembly today. The real reason for their registration is the desire not to be cut off from any money – something unworthy of me and something with which they themselves destroy everything created by the party, who fight every day for justice. It doesn't matter that this decision does not lead to consequences, the issue is a matter of principle. Personally, I have given up all the money that I have honestly earned in my life. I suffer humiliation every day, my family too. Over a thousand families suffer humiliation and financial hardship because of this government.

They offered me hundreds of millions of all kinds of options so that I could not do what we promised the people. None of us are special, we are absolutely ordinary people, we are worth nothing except our word. We entered the National Assembly, promising to show a different ethics and morality. We explicitly said yesterday that we should not register, because the issue is a matter of principle. While people are miserable, we should not go and register to get some money.

Even these people, if they are looking for some money, can go to other parties, they will give them bonuses, but “Majesty“ will work in the National Assembly in the same way - honor and morality, without petty scores. I am not interested in either MECH or PP, who said that we would come to an agreement on registrations so as not to suffer financial losses.

This is the people's money, it is not deserved by us. We cannot be guided by parties that do not enter into battle when necessary, and in moments of financial benefit to work together. We are becoming the same as them.

On Sunday in Pazardzhik, many of our like-minded people came, stood up to the mob, and all of this was destroyed because of registration for 100 cents. Let these people stand up, take responsibility before the voters.

I don't know how they will compensate for this, but I have no desire to work in this way with people who think so petty and elementary about 100 cents. They should apologize to the voters. These eight people spat on the people's trust.“
