Cornelia Ninova on water meter fee: Absurd, inhuman and abnormal decision of the deputies

200,000 are without water, but will pay a fee for virtual access to it. Another 150,000 have mud flowing from their taps. They will pay for access to.... mud

Absurd, inhuman and abnormal decision of the deputies. We will pay a new "water meter" fee for having access to water. Regardless of whether water is flowing or whether it is fit for use - we will pay. We owe money separately for the amount used. 200,000 are without water, but will pay a fee for virtual access to it. Another 150,000 have mud flowing from their taps. They will pay for access to.... mud.

This was commented on "Facebook" by the leader of "Nepokorna Bulgaria" Cornelia Ninova.

According to the KEVR report from last week, 70-80% of water is lost through worn-out pipes. In some areas such as Pernik, Shumen, Sliven, it is even over 82-3%. It is absurd that we all pay for colossal losses, poor water management, a non-functioning water supply and sanitation sector. Given these parameters, this is a managerial mockery.

They are really making us pay for the incompetent, thieving and deformed management.

Every fifth person in Bulgaria lives below the poverty line. The working poor are 11.7% of all employed people.

Nearly 800,000 pensioners are below the poverty line. Small and medium-sized, family businesses are on the verge of survival with unbearable bills. The middle class is also constantly being squeezed. So that a handful of rulers can steal and get rich, sinking more and more into luxury and privileges, cars, guards, cordons, media comfort. The paradox is that the BSP and 30 other left-wing parties participate in this government. And it is the most anti-social government of the transition.

The bill "water meter fee" must be stopped. It is unfair, pro-corruption and anti-social.
