At the moment, we cannot draw hasty conclusions. This was told to journalists by the director of the Sofia Directorate of Internal Affairs, Chief Commissioner Lyubomir Nikolov, in response to a question about the possible reasons why the girl wanted on Vitosha Mountain left her home.

Yesterday at 10:00 p.m., the girl's mother filed a report with the Fourth District Department that she had not seen her daughter for some time and assumed that she might have disappeared, Nikolov said. Search groups were immediately formed, we notified the Mountain Rescue Service and with the assistance of the Sofia Municipality and volunteers, an immediate search began. The girl was seen around 5:00 p.m. in the area of the "Boyana" residence, and about 40 minutes later around the Boyana waterfall, said Lyubomir Nikolov. She did not take any personal belongings with her, including a phone, which makes the search difficult, said Chief Commissioner Nikolov and expressed hope that the rescuers will be successful in the operation.
