"The funds for the salaries of young doctors have been secured. They will not be distributed in the form of clinical pathways. These will be earmarked funds that will be distributed to medical institutions in order to achieve the result that was set as a goal from the very beginning". This was stated by the chairman of the Health Committee in parliament, Kostadin Angelov, during the official ceremony of the project “The Doctors We Trust“ for 2025, which was held at the Grand Hotel “Millennium” in Sofia, quoted by Nova TV. The initiative is organized annually by the newspaper "24 Chasa" and honors physicians nominated by their patients.
Angelov emphasized that the Health Commission and the National Assembly will support every initiative that will help doctors treat and will remove every requirement that prevents them from working.
