The chairman of the GERB youth organization, Georgi Vladov, opened the National Academy of GERB youth structures, which is being held in Razlog today and tomorrow, BTA reports.
The party's youth structures from across the country will discuss topics related to foreign policy, the eurozone, finance, justice and tourism. Over 200 young people are participating in the forum.
The forum is attended by GERB leader Boyko Borisov, Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov, Minister of Foreign Affairs Georg Georgiev, Minister of Tourism Miroslav Borshosh and Rosen Plevneliev (President of Bulgaria 2012-2017).
At the opening, Vladov said that what makes GERB a different organization is not just the work, but that the tasks set by their leader Boyko Borisov are not 100 percent, but 200 percent fulfilled.
The strength not only of GERB, but also of other parties are the mayors. They are down to earth and can solve any problem, said the party leader Boyko Borisov to the participants in the National Academy of GERB Youth Structures.
He added that one of GERB's strengths is that it has never divided the mayors and they are clear and honest enough in their answers. “We fight for a month when the elections are, then we never divided them, but we have been friends and partners“, said Borisov.
