We heard the voice of the employers and unions. I don't know what PP-DB sees as a victory, but they are kings of marketing. We decided to put this Budget on pause. Borisov brought reason to the table and to a large extent influenced the final decision that was made at this council, said the deputy chairman of the GERB-SDS PG Denitsa Sacheva in "The Day Begins" with Georgi Lyubenov.
In her words, her colleagues from the PP-DB are starting a "new series of marketing spectacles, talking about the technology by which this should happen, but they are confusing people even more".
She categorically stated that the Budget that was submitted to the National Assembly will not be voted on at second reading.
"If the PP-DB want a Budget that is balanced between employers and unions, a budget that will receive parliamentary support, then they should not be making this protest. But, if they aim for something else - destabilization, if they aim to block Bulgaria's path to the eurozone, if they want to have new elections, if they have such plans for action - let them share it", Sacheva urged.
Sacheva specified that if the Budget is withdrawn, this means restarting the entire procedure and having a new budget only in March. She said that they have a plan for the Budget to be adopted and to enter with this Budget.
"We heard the employers, we heard the unions. That's what we heard. What does Asen Vassilev think about the Budget, excuse me, but it is really difficult for us to hear him, given that he himself, as Finance Minister, proposed an increase in the maximum social security income.
According to her, "he is the one who has taken illogical steps".
In her words, "reaching out to the PP-DB is now almost impossible, because I cannot think of a single colleague of mine from GERB who would want to work with Asen Vassilev and with people who have similar destructive behavior". And this party is starting to have a vaudeville character, according to her and "to go more into the whistle and not think of it as a next step".
"The reality is this - if the PP-DB had constructive behavior, they should have come before the adoption of the Budget, put their proposals on the table and say under what circumstances they would support the Budget, preserving the form of this coalition".
There are only groundless nagging and provocations on their part, said Sacheva. She wants them to enter the media only through a scandal, but not through any reasonable decision.
Denitsa Sacheva said that she has no intention at this stage of a different composition of the Council of Ministers. She added that it is being discussed whether SUBTO should be categorically abolished, the dividend tax should remain at 5%, and the social security contribution should be increased by only 1%.
Regarding the BSP, Sacheva said that "they expect them to show the appropriate understanding and make compromises".
