Everything was staged, said PP-DB MP Elisaveta Belobradova to the Bulgarian National Radio about the pogrom on the streets, at the headquarters of the DPS - New Beginning and the GERB office at the protest on Monday in Sofia.

"The first 30 min. of the so-called reenactment of the Ilinden-Preobrazhensko Uprising - the same was at the intersection of "Dondukov" and "Vasil Levski" boulevards. There was 20 meters of air - absolutely empty - and the protesters are standing there and watching. At the central intersection are me, the bandits and the Turks", she commented.

She pointed out that when the garbage cans were set on fire, the fire department reacted very slowly so that they would burn longer and have more time for photos, news.bg wrote.

"We are slowly moving towards "Dondukov". Third action - breaking into the GERB office. After the office was carefully broken into, everyone moved out and stood. Then the police came 2 meters ahead. An Instagram moment followed. While the 4 buckets were burning violently, everyone was taking pictures in front of the buckets. After everyone was taking pictures to take stock, the police then started running - at that moment they scattered like a flock of geese. And the fire department slowly and carefully came and put out the buckets," the MP pointed out, adding that this was the end of the reenactment.

Belobradova is categorical that she can distinguish a staged theatrical performance. "It is infinitely visible and obvious how the police officers stand, huddled together with their shields, and during this time 3 boys went to the cars - the bus and the Ministry of Internal Affairs car, and started breaking the windows, breaking, while there were about 80 police officers next to them", she added.

According to the MP, when the procession reached the headquarters of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms and the first sirens were heard, the young people began to organize themselves and pull back to isolate the agitators. "At the protest in front of the National Assembly, there were many young people who had inherited our calls from 20 years ago. With these shouts, I went back 20-30 years", the MP pointed out.

Otherwise, Belobradova does not want the agitators to be won over and believes that everyone is responsible for their own behavior. "Not every boy with a black tracksuit, a black jacket and black sneakers is a local. There were many boys with black jackets, tracksuits, with whom I spoke at the protest. They were excited to be there. The others could see who they were. They were integrating themselves into the protest. They were ready. They stood as if paused. They stood motionless. They looked like people who were paying attention and waiting for the signal to come," she said.

The MP also said that when the march started from the "Triangle of Power", all the provocateurs gathered in one group and the protesters could not isolate them, which is what the police should have done, but did not do. "I went to the police, I spoke to their faces, I shouted to them - here are the boys, stop them, detain them, and they just stood there. It was an absolutely abstract experience. It was as if I was gone," added Belobradova.

She believes that this was the most rational politically oriented protest that has ever taken place in Bulgaria, and the young people knew very well why they were there. "People came with a specific idea of exactly what they want and they want it now, right away. It was related to their incomes," Belobratova argued.

She asked why Interior Minister Daniel Mitov was not present and reiterated the PP-DB's call for his resignation. "Laughter, contempt and disrespect for ordinary citizens," the MP commented.
