Minimum temperatures on the first day of the working week will be from minus 1° in the northwestern regions to 9° in the southeastern ones, in Sofia - about 2°.
Before noon, mainly light rain will fall in the western and central parts of the Danube Plain and there will be conditions for ice. Significant precipitation is expected in Southern Bulgaria, and in the districts of Smolyan and Kardzhali a code orange has been declared for possible local amounts of over 60 liters per sq.m per day.
In Eastern Bulgaria and north of the mountains a moderate and strong southerly wind will blow and maximum temperatures there will be between 9° and 14°. In the rest of the country, values of 3° are expected to 8, in Sofia around 7°, on the sea coast, where it will rain only on the night of Tuesday - from 8° and 12°.
In the mountains there will be precipitation, more intense in the Rila-Rhodope region. Due to the high temperatures for the season there too, the border between snow and rain will be at around 1700 meters. A strong and stormy southerly wind will blow, which will begin to weaken during the day.
On Tuesday there will be precipitation from rain, which will stop everywhere by the evening. Colder air will penetrate from the northwest and temperatures will slightly drop.
On Wednesday the minimums will drop further and will be close to zero, but the maximums will rise.
On Thursday and Friday there will be rain again, more significant on the first day in Southern Bulgaria, and on the second - in Northern Bulgaria. It will remain warm for the end of January.
