The National Assembly will consider amendments to the Trademarks Act and will conduct the first parliamentary control of the executive cabinet.

The parliament is expected to approve new rules for geographical indications with the amendments to the Trademarks and Geographical Indications Act. The Patent Office will be designated as the competent authority in Bulgaria, which will be assisted by the Permanent Interdepartmental Commission. The national stages for registration, amendment of specifications and deletion of geographical indications and control activities, including in e-commerce, will be regulated.

Sanctions will also be introduced for violations and measures to remove illegal content related to counterfeit products. It is planned to introduce fees, taking into account the fact that the main users of the system are micro and small enterprises. To combat counterfeit goods more effectively, information on advertising, promotion and sale of products that infringe the right to registered geographical indications will be considered illegal content and will be subject to removal.

Within the first parliamentary control of the caretaker government, Prime Minister Andrey Gyurov will answer a question about the lack of adequate air fire-fighting preparedness before the fire season.

Minister of Interior Emil Dechev will be heard on topics related to measures against vote-buying in the upcoming partial local elections in Pazardzhik, as well as on issues of road safety and public order.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Nadezhda Neynski will answer a question about a statement on Bulgaria's readiness to provide an air corridor for the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
