"Save Sofia" will not participate in the early parliamentary elections. The focus for us is the situation in Sofia. Local politics - this is our focus, we have many years of experience there and we prefer to focus on them than to jump into the parliamentary elections.

This was stated by the leader of "Save Sofia" Boris Bonev to BNT.

Bonev also attacked the leader of DPS-New Beginning Delyan Peevski and asked if there was any business that he had touched and did not bankrupt.

"Delyan Peevski is a phenomenon in Bulgarian politics also for the fact that he can compromise with his personality. Peevski is active when he attacks Sofia Mayor Vasil Terziev," Bonev added.

"Save Sofia" proposed that 700 decares of land that are no longer needed be given to the Sofia Municipality as a mechanism to compensate private owners in the inter-block areas.

Bonev stated that he had no personal rift with Vasil Terziev, but the mayor did not revise GERB. "We preferred to go into opposition, which definitely freed our hands because we have more submitted reports. What hurts me is that Sofia is at a standstill," he added.

"Save Sofia" in practice he works with Vasil Terziev, but the problems come when the decision of the Municipal Council is not implemented by Mayor Terziev.

For him, the fact that the blackmail of the municipality by the public transport employees is politically motivated is indisputable. Now with the five percent increase, Boris Bonev does not believe that it will lead to a public transport strike. Bonev hopes to one day hear a protest from the public transport employees for more bus lanes and new buses.
