Tatyana Doncheva: Let's assume that Radev has good intentions, but the final result does not depend on that

Yesterday I was impressed by Tsvetlin Yovchev, who explained what a great operative Svetlozar Lazarov was. I know that as a deputy prime minister he had this chief secretary, who is now a special factor in the interior ministry

Decomposing the model requires two things: understanding the mechanism and not being dependent. This was said by the leader of "Movement 21" Tatyana Doncheva in an interview for the show "Face to Face" on bTV.

In her words, what needs to happen immediately is the appointment of a new Supreme Judicial Council.

“No tinkering: who was a political quota, who was not a political quota, no tinkering before the election of a new Supreme Judicial Council and putting at least a few people in the Supreme Judicial Council who have a strong backbone, high resilience, know the system and can work together. Preparing constitutional changes. The house book seems simple, it seems clear. If it has to be done in two steps, some of the changes can be cleared up right now. No one is preventing some of the political leaders - not only the majority, but also a wider circle, from having conversations with members of the Constitutional Court, with whom they can discuss this old decision on the form of state government and its scope. This is a conversation that can take place on a theoretical and scientific level. But this decision must be made so that an ordinary National Assembly can have greater opportunities for constitutional changes: abolishing the permanently acting Supreme Judicial Council, abolishing the collegiums, etc.," Doncheva pointed out.

"Of course, I know Rumen Radev," she also said.

When asked if she believed that he was sincere in his desire to dismantle the oligarchic model, she answered as follows: “When someone is in power for a certain period of time and leaves power, then the reckoning is made. The road to hell is paved with good intentions. Let's assume that Rumen Radev and “Progressive Bulgaria” have good intentions. The final result, however, will not depend only on good intentions, but also on many other factors, so I think we should not be in a bad mood or say in advance that it will not happen”.

"Yesterday, I was impressed by Tsvetlin Yovchev, who explained what a great operative Svetlozar Lazarov was. I know that as a deputy prime minister he had this chief secretary, who is now a special factor in the interior ministry. Svetlo Lazarov was an employee of the Berets. After a scandal that the Berets had protected private businessmen, they were removed from service. Svetlo Lazarov, as Kamen Penkov's son-in-law, remained in the NSS as a person who has no connection with the operational work of the NSS”, also commented Tatyana Doncheva.
