At a briefing in the parliament by "Vazrazhdane" announced that they have information that ammunition is being secretly exported from units of the Bulgarian Army, Novini.bg reported.
We are talking about peacetime and wartime stocks. It is about the stocks and reserve. It is not only personnel, the people who can be mobilized, but also the equipment, ammunition and equipment that can be used during war. In the case of this stock, the National Assembly, the Commander-in-Chief – the president, the Council of Ministers and the Ministry of Defense, said the MP from "Vazrazhdane" Ivelin Parvanov.
With the political situation that has arisen in recent weeks, in this murky water that has emerged, some people have decided to fish. Certain circles, including the Prime Minister and the Minister of Defense, clearly want to demonstrate their knee-jerk attitude towards our Western partners and allies, who do not treat us as an equal country, and are trying to do something behind the back of the National Assembly. In recent months, we have received information from individual bases and from individual military personnel that the stock of technical means available to our armed forces is being purposefully scrapped and reduced. I.e. a large part of them, being classified as unsuitable, go to third countries that indirectly supply Ukraine. These funds are diverted and exported from our bases, announced Parvanov.
The unpleasant thing in this case is that this karma is slowly returning to the Bulgarian people. Yesterday, information appeared in the media that the armed forces of Ukraine from the right bank of the Dnieper shelled Bulgarian villages located on the left bank, around the administrative center of Alyosha in the Russian-controlled Kherson region.
We cannot say what the losses are, but the opinion of the Revival party is that Bulgaria must be combat-ready and ready at any time. We must be ready to face the challenges of our time alone. That's why we need bigger stocks of all kinds of technical supplies, to motivate the staff – and you see that our whole society is overwhelmed by apathy. In order for Bulgaria to exist, for us to exist as a state and as a nation, first of all we must take care of our immune system – armed forces. We cannot cut them off for any auspicious occasion, officially called allied engagements. We have no commitments to Ukraine.
