This is what he commented in the studio of “Wake Up” People's representative from PP-DB Venko Sabrutev.
In his words, the official cabinet has the basic task of ensuring the transition between two regular governments and fair elections. „The Minister of the Interior showed during the local vote that he could not deal with the bought votes. In order to replace a minister, one must go through the National Assembly, through a vote. There must be a majority of at least 121 people's representatives. Here, the opinion of GERB-SDS, who said that they will protect Kalin Stoyanov, was key. We have great doubts, because he could not cope with the local vote, that he will be able to cope with the even greater task of organizing a parliamentary vote plus European elections,” Sabrutev added.
According to him, the PP-DB have made it impossible for Bulgaria to remain with a stable government. „We have done the impossible to honor our arrangement, which was originally a rotation of the Prime Minister. We wanted to show our non-coalition partners and the public that we are a party that keeps its promises, but when it comes to changing an entire government, the most logical thing to do is to replace ministers who have proven themselves to be ineffective. The big scandal is how the resignation of the chief secretary was requested. We see a return to power through fear. We firmly insist that the judge, who has the right to investigate the chief prosecutor, take action”, specified the representative of the people.
He specified that power does not lie with politicians, but with the people. “ For 9 months, calm reigned in Bulgaria, policies for society and business were implemented in Bulgaria,”, he said.
Sabrutev said that the most important thing the public should focus on is to preserve the vote.
