Two parties have not submitted their annual financial statements: PP "Green Union" and PP "Clean, United and Sovereign Fatherland"

122 political parties submitted their annual financial statements to the Audit Chamber their financial statements and their lists of donors for 2023, having complied with the requirements for their submission within the time limit set by the Political Parties Act (PPA). The reports are published on the website of the Audit Chamber.

Two parties have not submitted annual financial statements: PP “Green Union“ and PP “Pure, united and sovereign fatherland“.

The reports of two parties were submitted after the statutory deadline, but the requirements of the FP regarding the form, content and manner of presentation were complied with: PP “Balkan Democratic League“ and PP “Edinenie“.

The fine for reports not submitted and for reports submitted after the legal deadline is in the amount of BGN 5,000 to BGN 10,000.

The Audit Office publishes:

- List of political parties whose annual financial statements for 2023 have been submitted to the Audit Chamber within the legal deadline – 01.04.2024, and meet the requirements for form, content and method of presentation of the report according to Art. 34 of the Law on Political Parties;

- List of political parties that have not submitted their annual financial statements for 2023 to the Audit Office in accordance with the requirements of Art. 34 of the Law on Political Parties;

- List of political parties whose annual financial statements for 2023 have been submitted to the Audit Chamber after the legal deadline – 01.04.2024, and meet the requirements for form, content and method of presentation of the report according to Art. 34 of the Law on Political Parties.

A list of the parties that received a state subsidy in 2023, according to Art. 34, para. 6 of the ZPP.

The Audit Office begins its annual audit of the financial activity, income, expenses and management of the provided property of the political parties, which in the previous year received a state subsidy, used premises provided to them - state or municipal property, and participated in elections.
