"The talks must continue where they left off, but that cannot happen while Mr. Borisov plays the role of Sancho Panza to Mr. Peevski.".
This is what DSB Deputy Chairman Yordan Ivanov commented to BNT on the occasion of possible negotiations between GERB and PP-DB after the elections.
In "Speak Now" the deputy said that the legislative program agreed upon at the beginning of the administration was slandered by GERB and DPS.
"I insist that we be honest with the Bulgarian voters, and especially with those of the PP-DB, to say that Bulgaria needs regular state power. The biggest risk to have a regular government within the framework of the 50th National Assembly is the comfort of Mr. Borisov and Mr. Peevski and the official government that is managed by them.
Politics must be based on honesty towards voters - PP-DB expect GERB to represent the interests of its own voters, not those of DPS, commented Ivanov.
"We are ready to negotiate with GERB voters when they are free from the will of DPS for the important reforms in the state. Nothing more, nothing less."
He also commented on the removal of the Speaker of the Parliament Rosen Zhelyazkov.
"The straw that broke the camel's back and we demanded the resignation of Rosen Zhelyazkov was the honoring of the Armenian genocide and not allowing a moment of silence in the parliament.
According to Yordan Ivanov, Rosen Zhelyazkov chose to work with Delyan Peevski.
"He did not fulfill his own will, he sabotaged the "Botash" commission, the "Balkan Stream" commission. Insane laws were passed that harm the Bulgarian nature through amendments to the investment promotion law without having a quorum in the commissions at all.
